I have a PhD in Chemistry. I have worked as a Chemistry teacher for 9 years. I love presenting fun experiments to my students to make them believe that Chemistry is Magical !
I sometimes feel like I am like Snape giving a potion lesson to 1st year Hogwarts students. I am not as cynical as him though, but I enjoy seeing the sparkle in the astonished eyes of my students.
I have a sweet little family. I enjoy travelling and visiting new places. I read mangas and play video games in my spare time. I occasionally practise Padel and Mini-foot.
I met my wife during my studies. She is a physicist who now works as an informatician. She inspired me to pursue a career in this field too. Our little daughter was born in August 2020. She mostly inspires me to try to get to sleep as soon as I get the chance as we never know how the night's gonna be.
My wife and I love travelling, but not so much in busy cities. We would rather spend time in nature: hiking on the mountain, wandering in the forest, leisure walks by the sea or lake. During these trips, we always carry our binoculars and camera and observe the wildlife in the neighbourhood.
I have always practised a lot of sports. But recently I have been mostly playing padel with my brother, and participating in local tournaments. Occasionally I also play friendly indoor 5v5 football with the football team I created with friends of my university since 2016.
Although I loved being a teacher, I had to quit my job this year for several reasons. This gave me the opportunity to spend more time raising my little girl and to discover the world of IT.
In the past few months I have been following online self-teaching courses and have acquired skills and certificates in data analysis and programming. It is thanks to these lessons that I have been able to create this website.
I am currently open for a new job position to work in science communication or data science.
Below you may find a few screenshots of my past projects in PowerBI and Pycharm (Python).
More info on my projects will come soon on this website, so stay tuned!
